You have our assurance that only the Course Leaders and SOS Insight staff will know your full identity and this information will never be sold, lent or otherwise given to any third parties. And the Course Leaders are the only individuals that will know the contents of your gender-specific questionnaires. This also means that the contents of your questionnaire will not be shared with your partner or vice versa. During course hours you will be required to wear a name tag that only has your first name or chosen nick-name, but no last name.
By participating in this course you and your partner acknowledge the sensitive nature of the material being covered and promise to keep confidential everything you hear or experience during the group sessions. This also means your promise to not discuss any information with anyone outside of the course about anyone else who attended with you.
No Inappropriate Behavior
No disrobing or overt sexual behavior of any kind will be allowed during the course group sessions. You and your partner agree to only speak up during group sessions when invited to by the Course Leaders. You both also agree to not use inflammatory language or inappropriately interact with other participants of the course. You and your partner acknowledge the right of the Course Leaders to remove any participants who do not follow these behavioral guidelines.
No tablets or laptop computers are allowed within the group sessions. If you do bring a cell or smart phone, phablet or similar handheld device you agree to turn it off during the group sessions. In the event you or your partner need to be available for a potential emergency contact during the sessions, then just let our attending staff know and they will give you a contact number to use for that purpose. If someone attempts to contact you using that number the on-site staff will interrupt the session to notify you.
No Recording or Photographing During Group Session
Attendees are not allowed to electronically record in any manner the material covered, other attendees or the group sessions. Each attendee will be provided a note book which can be used to take written notes for their own use.
The SOS Insight Course for couples is a highly experiential, transformative and intensive workshop. It is quite likely that during the group sessions you will be asked to participate by sharing your thoughts and experiences in an authentic way. Full participation is key to achieving the greatest benefits from this kind of course experience.
This participation includes the willingness to be coached by the Course Leaders. This means doing the work assigned even if it doesn’t make immediate sense or may seem like it won’t work. This is the nature of transformational work and requires a letting go of the need to be “right” or make judgements of what is being taught before even trying it out.
By attending this course you and your partner agree to fully participate in the course and be coached by the Course Leaders.
Food and Breaks
There will be several breaks throughout each full day of the course. Each full day starts at 9:00 a.m. and ends at approximately 9:00 p.m. During each full day (Friday and Saturday) there are mid-morning, mid-afternoon and mid-evening breaks that last 15 minutes and a 30 minute lunch break around noon. There is a one-hour dinner break starting around 5:30 p.m.
You are welcome to bring food or snacks that are in sealed containers and do not require refrigeration.
No Sales or Solicitation
The SOS Insight Course for couples is fully self-contained and does not require any follow up or add-on courses to make your relationship transformation complete. We promise that no SOS Insight staff or third parties will attempt to sell you anything as a result of taking this course. You may receive an email from time to time just to make sure you and your partner are still on track with the work you completed in the course. However, you will receive no solicitations from us whatsoever before, during or after the course.
Likewise, you and your partner agree to not solicit any of the other attendees of the course for any purpose whatsoever. Failure to abide by this rule is grounds for expulsion from the course and forfeiting your course fees.
